Luis Izquierdo brings to Dallas–Fort Worth a European piano tradition shaped by family craftsmanship, advanced technical training, and years of concert-level experience.
He began learning in Spain alongside his father, a Steinway piano technician with more than 40 years of experience. Luis continued his development through concert training in different countries at C. Bechstein Manufaktur, Renner Academy, Yamaha European Technician Academy, and Klangmanufaktur Steinway Workshop in Hamburg, traveling and constantly learning.
Luis is also a member of the technical team at GPS · Global Piano Services (www.globalpianoservices.com), an active member of the Spanish Association of Piano Technicians, and examined and certified by the Piano Builders’ Commission of EUROPIANO.
His background includes technical work and maintenance for Spain’s leading symphonic concert hall and the Royal Conservatory of Music of Madrid, as well as piano work connected with world-renowned artists such as Martha Argerich, Maria João Pires, Leif Ove Andsnes, and a long list of other musicians.
